How does your organization involve program participants in designing, planning, and evaluating your programs and services?

 

This is the core of the Clubhouse model. All Clubhouses accredited by Clubhouse International operate by the thirty-seven International Standards for Clubhouse Programs (attached) which establish this principle: "Members have the opportunity to participate in all the work of the Clubhouse, including administration, research, enrollment and orientation, reach out, hiring, training and evaluation of staff, public relations, advocacy and evaluation of Clubhouse effectiveness." (Standard 37) This principle is at the heart of the Clubhouse work-ordered day, where members and staff work side-by-side in all the work of the Clubhouse.
